How do I work out pay on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern?
Q. I have been for an interview today and think it went well but cannot get my head around working out the annual pay. With 10 hour shifts and a 4 on 4 of rota how do I work out the annual hours.. . Once I have that I can work out the average weekly earnings! Thanks in advance!

A. I think you are saying that your shifts are 'cycled' over 8 days (4 on, 4 off) ??? i.e. after 8 days you have worked 4 x10 = 40 hours ??? If so, then after 7 days you have worked 7/8 x 40 = 35 hours ...
