Do I need 6 months on my passport for both entry and exit when travelling to China?
Q. I'm planning to go to China. When I arrive I will have 6 months and a few days validity on my passport but only 5 months and however many days when I leave. Will I be able to get a visa and will I be allowed entry into the country if it's noticed that I won't have a full 6 months at the time of departure or is it only the date of entry into PRC that is important? Thanks for your help.

A. Date of entry is all that counts. You must have at least 6 months left on your passport to enter any country. Your planned date of departure is not relevant. Your actual date of departure is not known until you actually leave the country.

Is 6 months long enough to plan a wedding?
Q. My boyfriend and I just got engaged and I am wanting to have a fall wedding, november. But I do not want to wait until 2010. Would I have enough time to plan a wedding for about 160 guest in about 6 months time? Or would it be a lot of stress? We do not have kids and I have a very flexible job. Anyone with experience on planning a wedding would help out!! Thanks.

A. It is absolutely possible, perhaps even easy. You simply need to be flexible about your venue/vendors. First off, you need to be active in looking at available venues, and you should book and put down a deposit on a venue ASAP. Then start looking at caterers and photographers - if photography is important to you, look for one now since they can book up early. Same thing with bands/DJs who are in demand Certain brands of dresses can take up to 5 months to be made. You can usually put in a rush order for an additional fee (same thing with bridesmaid dresses). Keep in mind that most dresses will not take 5 months, but you should try to pick one you love ASAP. Searching out florists, cake vendors, favors, etc. can be left until about 3… [cont.]

How to get my 6 week old kitten to be friends with me cat-friendly dog?
Q. I just rescued a 6 week old kitten and a 4 week. The 4 week is completely okay with Maggie, my 10 month old puppy, but the 6 week old hisses and freaks out. How do I help them socialize to be friendly? Maggie is perfectly friendly with them. Not a cat-evil bone in her body. Okay. To the idiot who says cats and dogs don't get along - that's retarded. Plenty of cats and dogs get along. My dog is not aggressive, I said that clearly. Please. Someone with some intelligence and experience please respond.

A. + Do you mind my asking why? Here is an old way. It takes some time. Soak 6 lbs of beans overnight in cold water. Drain water and add 6 #10 cans of peeled tomatoes. Added 4 medium green Jalapeno peppers and 6 pounds of grilled beef (cut into bite sized pieces) add one garlic clove and two white onions sliced. Simmer for several hours. It should cook down to about 6 gallons and make you the star of the show. good luck

Asked by The Capt. - Mon Jul 28 00:13:10 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. This is a simple math problem. If she has 6 books, she can line them up in 720 ways. 6x5x4x3x2x1= 720. I know that that sounds like a really high number, but if you think about it, it's not. See, the first book can be any of the six. The second book can be one of the five books left after choosing the first one. On the third book, there are four books left. Then so on... If it doesn't make any sense, just trust me.

What party games are suitable for 6-9 couples who were randomly paired?
Q. I need help on this..I'm planning a party game for 6-9 pairs who were assigned at random and who know little about each other. They only have a small area to move around in so the game cannot be a relay or racing kind. The 6-9 couples have to compete with one another and the game has to let the pair 'work' together and be as creative as possible. I was thinking of an answer and question game but i can't come up with fun questions to ask them.

How often does a 6 month old have nightmares?
Q. My six month old recently has not been sleeping properly. She would wake up, won't open her eyes, but cry and scream hysterically. Is she having nightmares? And how often does a 6 month old get them? If it helps any, she is teething and has a diaper rash, could that be the cause of her screaming and crying? I'm just getting a little concerned?
Asked by Mommy of 2 awesome babies - Mon May 14 12:48:44 2007 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. They are not nightmares, they are called night terrors. I am not sure exactly what causes them. But I do know that you are not the only parent experiencing them with their child. They can go away or could last for years. I would talk to your pediatrician on your next check up or maybe even schedule an early one just to talk with them about them. They will be able to tell you the best ways to handle them better than me. But I am definitely sure that they are night terrors not nightmares, doesn't sound like too much difference but there is. I hope it all works out for you.

A. Check with the kindergarten teacher. They often have great songs that the kids love. Right now at our elementary school, they're all hooked on Dr. Jean, who does fun, upbeat, educational songs, and old favorites like Bear Hunt. They might even be able to burn you a cd. Also, depending on how many have older siblings and parents that have exposed them to more, there's always stuff like Kids Bop, where kids sing popular top 40 songs.

What colleges have a 6 or 7 year medical program?

A. Well to become a GP you have to do a 4 year course and then another 2/3 years. So maybe you should go for that, its great pay and everything. Also, you get to work in the hospital for a few years which is pretty cool cause you get to experience a bit of everything.

How lumpy is a 6 months food meant to be?
Q. My little boy has been on solids since he was 4 months. Now he is no 3 meals a day that he is 6 months. I normaly do my own dinners. I have just doen a new lot and have left them with some lumpy bits in it. But we are on holidays next month and I have got some jars to take. I tried him on one the other day but he started to choke because of the lumps. What can I do to get him used to to the lumps?
Asked by Wizzy - Tue Apr 1 05:47:39 2008 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments
A. the only way to get babies used to lumps is to keep trying but slowly!, they need to learn how to control their gag reflex and choking slightly is perfectley normal. 6 months isnt too young-every baby is different some tolerate lumps from the younger age. dont puree it so its almost runny keep a bit of thickness in it, and keep trying, you will know if he if struggling but it does take time.

Why, if our body temperatures are 98.6 degress is an optimal climate closer to 70 degrees?

A. Seeing as we're warm blooded, it wouldn't make sense that we would need our climate to be around the same temperature as our normal body heat. Our bodies are always releasing heat in order to maintain homeostasis [remain at 98.6 degrees F], thus, a cooler climate is usually preferred so that less sweat is necessary. If we remain in hot weather for an extended period of time, our body needs more fluids to replenish that which it loses through [sweating]. How much should a 6 week old kitten be eating?
Q. My 6 week old kitten is eating pretty much every 2-3hours, we leave out a bowl for it to eat when it pleases, but we are considering to only putting out the bowl in the morning and evening. So is it normal for a kitten to eat this much?

A. there are 6 possibilities for the first position, 5 for the second, 4 for the third, 3 for the fourth, 2 for the fifth, and 1 for the last. Thus the total number of possibilities is 6x5x4x3x2x1 or 6! (six factorial), which equals 720
