The universe appears to be infinite but anomalous. Then how can parallel universes exist?
Q. A parallel universe would appear to require the existence of supernatural phenomena that we cannot comprehend with our limited sensory perception. If that's the case, are we then trapped in a finite existence through sheer cosmic accident?
Asked by steve e - Sun Sep 30 00:04:36 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Quite right. We would not be able to detect or perceive parallel universes, nor would they be able to detect or perceive ours. If they exist, they will always be a theoretical reality, not an objective one. But superstring theory postulates the existence of other universes (a multiverse) outside our own universe. Its not so much a supernatural phenomenon the way we define that as it is "extra-natural" in that its beyond our ordinary experience but possible in advanced physics.

A. Temperature of the classroom and therefore the chemicals Used the wrong concentration Read the results incorrectly Unclean equipment Broken equipment Human error (with a stop watch it is plus or minus 0.5 seconds) Unpure chemicals Not writing down results correctly Calculating the wrong average Anything you can think of that might have had an effect on the result. I don't know exactly what experiment you are doing so i can't really be very specific. But the most likely cause for a rates of reaction experiment is probably using the wrong concentration (by mistake or that it wasn't labelled properly. A. Well, here is a brief summary of open carry from Wikipedia: [edit] Oregon In Oregon, the right to bear arms is protected by Article 1, Section 27 of the state constitution.[188] Oregon is a shall-issue concealed-carry state[189] and is notable for having very few restrictions on where a concealed firearm may be carried.[190] Oregon also has statewide preemption for its concealed-carry laws meaning that, with limited exceptions, counties and cities cannot place limits on concealed-carry beyond those provided by state law.[191] Oregon is also an open-carry state,[192] but preemption does not apply to open carry, so cities and counties are free to limit public possession of firearms by individuals who do not have a concealed carry permit.[1 [cont.]

A. Check your statistics text. Anomalous data is expected. A lack of anomalous data is suspect. A perfect curve or slope is only calculable. Re-accomplishing the experiment is an option. This may void the first experiment or confuse the issue.

A. Fresh water melting from frozen areas and continents are reducing the salinity of the ocean and so causing the ocean currents to slow. The ocean currents drive the climate and bring cooler water from the polar regions to the equator and then the warmed equatorial water back up to the northern regions. When these currents slow or stop the arctic and antarctic areas will just continue to get colder and the equator will have no cooling waters. This cyclic breakdown could bring about climate changes and temperature drops and increases we never imagined.

A. It is too easy to dismiss some of this stuff as nonsense - easier on the brain too. What is hard to explain is how sometimes people see and describe a totally unheard of creature, yet other people independently report seeing something very similar. Yes, there is also the 'believing you see something by contagion' effect, but that is something different. [When someone reports a seeing a Zeppelin cruising over New York, other people are convinced they have seen it too - yet there was no Zeppelin - or the Chupacabras phenomenon]. String theory makes the possibility of multiple planes of existence less of a science fiction and if these planes sometimes collide or interfere with each other that could explain a few things. Anomalous properties of water?
Q. what are they?
Asked by Computer - Tue Jan 6 15:26:59 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Consider that a water molecule has an atomic weight of 18, the same as argon. Argon is found as a gas at room temp, but water is a liquid. Similarly methane has a weight of 16 and is a gas. Thus the anomalous property is that water is a liquid while similarly heavy molecules are gases. This is because water has hydrogen bonds which allow water molecules to interact with each other, preventing them from entering the gaseous phase. Most other anomalous properties of water are related to its hydrogen bonding abilities.

A. We are definitely discussing a condensation reaction here, though condensation typically referts to water. Molecules like water and ammonia can be removed from a combination of 2 molecules so as the molecules can bond. Being able to remove ammonia allows for bonding as well. To try and sketch the effect of condensation to make peptides, one hydrogen is taken from an amine group (-NH2) on one amino acid and the hydroxyl group (-OH) from the other amino acid. The carboxyl (-COOH) carbon and amine nitrogen form a peptide bond to link amino acids. Ammonia is made by having a different group (i.e. NH2) substitute for the hydroxyl group. The website below will show you an example of this peptide bond being formed with a diagram.

A. coronary artery is the artery that came from the heart to supply itself with oxygen, nutrients etc. If there's decreased supply O2 in the heart you will feel angina pectoris (chest pain) that's the first symptom. Now, since only 50% is blocked there's still a way for blood to supply the heart and it will not manifest symptoms maybe when u are at rest, but if the workload of heart is increased (exercise, stress or anything that may trigger the heart to work harder)or there is greater demand of O2 than supply then as i mentioned earlier you'll feel chest pain & also since the heart is not functioning well there will be a deprivation of O2 supply to the other organs (brains, kidney, etc) so there will be a complications. If it progresses,… [cont.]
