In C++ How can I tell the difference between integers and characters?
Q. I am currently learning C++ and I have been asked to make a program which will calculate the interest that would be paid on a deposit of a given size. One of the requirements is that we display an error message when non-integer data is entered. I however cannot work out how to detect if non-integer data has been entered. If anyone could provide an example of how this problem is solved it would be much appreciated!

A. It is easy. Suppose that you have a string that contains the information you've got from "scanf". For example a string like char (or wchar_t) Str[100]. Now what is an Integral number? Integral means numbers that can have a part with digits from 0 to 9 (Characters from 48 (0x30) to 57 (0x39)). You may also have a negative sign before the number like -35. So to check the number, you can start from the first character and continue until you get to a NULL terminator (0x0). Declare a bool to check if the string has any numbers in it. If you want to check for the negative mark check if the first bool is true. In that case the negative sign is in the middle of the number (like "4-53"). If it is false, just continue. How soon after a c-section do you start feeling better?
Q. I'm going on five weeks and I still feel very uncomfortable and have a bit of pain and pressure on my incision. My friends tell me everyone is different. I had an emergency c-section due to my placenta rupturing and my body took a beating.

A. My incision still is a lil painful and there is still a little pressure ecspecially when I wear jeans and it has been 3 1/2 months, so I think that is normal. Other than my incision aching occasionally I felt great around my 6-8 week mark.

Repairs were made to my a/c unit and the repair man was supposed to make them to another house. Pay him?
Q. Compressor was replaced in my a/c unit - but the repair man had the wrong address. Do I have to pay for repairs? Don't really want old compressor put back in - was probably thrown in the back of a pickup - who knows what type of condition it is in.
