I need to restrict access to a handful of directories during evening hours, but still allow users access to other directories. Restricting login hours with GPO seems to be an all or nothing proposal and will not work for what we are doing. Is there another possible solution? I am pretty sure there are add-on tools that allow this. One way to do this might be to run a scheduled job that runs a script that resets the "hidden" attribute on the directories at a certain time each night, then reveres when they're done.
