From Google News Search: "Generations and Age Groups" What age group is considered Generation X? Q. We have a disput going at work and are trying to find the answer. At 36 I do not feel like I am an Xer but want to know where I fall. Asked by monkey f - Mon Jul 24 14:24:47 2006 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. Everything else that I've read above this answer is actually wrong. Generation X'ers were born in the 60's and 70's. Of course, it is foolish to categorize everyone who falls in that group, but unfortunately it happens. Therefore, you are considered an X'er. I wish you the best of all. Answered by Dan - Mon Jul 24 14:29:36 2006 Is it abnormal to be not attracted to people within your age group? Q. I just finished college this year and only feel attracted to people 20 - 30 something years older than me. I don't feel like people of that age are within my parents generation, as my parents are in their early 60s. Sorry, not a LGBT question but I want to ask this here also. Q. It seems to me that when you are a single guy who is in his early twenties that younger and older generations either don't like you or don't respect you that much. I'am a 22 year-old guy who is single and in the military (US Navy to be exact) and my situtation seems to be worse than guys who are my age and in college. I'am a decent good-looking guy who doesn't give out any negative vibes or show disrespect towards others in or outside of my generation. Most of time my attitude is positive and I don't cause any trouble. Yet somtimes I feel like others outside my age group are going out of their way to be rude to me either because I'am not living the stereotypical life of a 22 year-old (due to my current military status) and the fact that I'a [cont.] Asked by CentralCalSurfer - Fri May 11 20:43:03 2007 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. I think when they wrote it they meant that people under 23 think your too old and people over 23 think your an immature punk who probably get's drunk and parties. And also that at 23 your supposed to start growing up and get a life and all that stuff but most of them still want to have fun, which a lot of people look down on. 23 is generally most peoples first year out of college and sort of the age to get your life together.
