What are some fun math games for 2nd graders?
Q. I'm teaching a 2nd grade math class and I'm wondering if anyone has any easy and fun math games that the children might enjoy which would also help their math skills? I'm looking for anything I can do in the classroom with them - not computer or internet games. A detailed explanation or links to resources would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

A. Turn any lesson into a game simply by grouping students and have them compete against each other. Ask a math question and the first to respond gets the point. Another game students like is math bingo.

Wireless laptops can't see shared resources on wired network?
Q. I have a wired network on a wired only Linksys router. All of the wired computers can share resources (hard drive, printers). I added a wireless Linksys router (wired to the wired router) and set the router to be an access point. All computers, wired or wireless, have internet access, but the wireless laptops can only see each other but not see the wired computers resources. I have the same subnet, workgroup name, etc. on all devices The wireless devices are 192.168.0.100,102,103... and the wired devices are 192.168.1.100,101,102...s o I can get into each routers settings without conflict. What am I doing wrong? TIA If I change the second router to 192.168.1.1... wont that conflict with the other routers access page or cause a conflict… [cont.]

A. They have different network addresses. the ones with a 192.168.1.x cant access a PC on 192.168.0.x You have to change then to the same network addresses. Just enable Static IP addresses for all of them and you have a problem with IP conflicts.
