What will happen to a person who befriended the darkness?
Q. will he/she gain some power? and can he use it as an advantage for good deeds? I suppose there are individuals who seem to be attributed with darkness, but that doesn't necessarily determine their nature. Don't you think? What is "darkness" by the way?

A. My, my, aren't we poetic! Let's get real! Darkness=evil right? Say so, don't hide behind euphemisms. Since evil and good imply good and bad, there is nothing to say since they are relative to the value system of each individual's cultural system.

What does it mean that this person I befriended for quite a while, showed me this song?
Q. I think the song is Swing Life Away, by Rise Against. Ok, So We became good friends, but just in class, I usually go somewhere out to lunch. I'm much of a loner. He looks like he trusts me enough to tell his problems, what does it mean that he lended me his iPod, and it hit this especific song?

A. I looked up the lyrics, and they either seem to be about good ol' times or a struggling relationship. Seeing as you're probably not in a relationship with this dude, I'd just say he thought it was a good song, so he wanted you to listen to it. Not a big deal.

Have You Ever Befriended a wild house Rodent?
Q. I was answering questions in other parts of the yahoo questions and saw this topic empty so this question came to my mind. I thought it would be very interesting to find out so please answer honestly. Has anyone trapped a mouse in your House and befriended it and kept it as a pet or maybe a rat?

A. First to Silvertatt, even clean homes have mice. Mice visits are not related to cleanliness but to access into the home via gaps around pipes, eaves, siding, etc. Now for the question...I have not actually kept mice as pets but did find a few babies crawling in my garage (no eyes open yet) appeared that something must have happened to their mother. She never came around so, I brought them in, gave them a warm bed and fed them with an eyedropper of warmed puppy formula many time a day for a few weeks. They thrived, got big and strong enough to be on their own. I let them go in my barn. Continued to put food down for a few days (little bottle caps full of formula and bird seed). I've befriended a feral cat and we get along great outdoors, how would I get him to feel comfortable indoors?
Q. I feed him twice daily and brush him afterwards. He'll come to me when I'm out around the yard, but when I go inside and latch the front screen door open, he stops at the threshold, sits down, and watches me trying to coax him in. I'd like to have him inside this winter. I've cared for cats in the past and know their needs, so that's not a problem. Any suggestions?

A. Sounds pretty friendly for a feral cat! Are you asking how to get him inside? Food is always a good motivator, and moving the bowl daily closer to the door, then just inside the door, etc. Also a teasing wand-type toy (google Go Cat Da Bird) can be fairly irresistible and an easy way to get yourself between the cat and the door if you're trying to catch him. It sounds though like you could probably just pick him up while you're brushing him, so maybe you want to know how to make him comfortable while he's inside? BY FAR the easiest way is to get Feliway spray and spray it around the threshold and that area. Feliway is basically fake cat facial pheremones. It makes them feel like they've rubbed their face on everything, which is what they… [cont.]

Is the American who befriended the Bears in Alaska?
Q. the most stupid man who ever lived, I only saw part of the documentary but I couldn't believe how stupid he was. He was going real close to them as if they were cuddly toys, the bears ate him and unfortunately they ate his girl friend as well the bear was shot dead. The man should have known better but the Bear didn't ans he got shot for it.

A. Contrary to what Carry On said Treadwell was actually much stupider than he was portrayed. He was portrayed as a grizzly expert. He was not. He was just a doof who hung out with bears. He was warned, even ordered, many times to leave the bears alone. He would not listen. Why he lasted 13 years was not because up till the last encounter he did everything right but rather he just got lucky. He got what he had coming (not that I think that he deserved to die but like someone who plays russian roulette eventually the odds get you) but the true tragedy was that he got his girlfriend killed too. Edit: Read the book Death in the Grizzly Maze: The Timothy Treadwell Story by Mike Lapinski.

A. If he is actually a sociopath then your friendship probably doesn't mean much to him. He would probably get over it ... probably being the key word. I don't know your friend so you would be the best judge of that.

Michele witnesses town bad guy Felice nearby and suspects something bad is happening. Michele is unsure whom he should tell about his discovery, eventually speaking to his closest friend. Michele's parents learn of his discovery and warn him to forget whatever he saw. A. why not it's not as if he's going to watch her die, and if the surgery works out she may not die. When I was 14 I had a friend with a brain tumor. He was dying and he knew it so I went to see him the day before his surgery because he wanted to see me. We hung out and had a great time then the next morning he died on the operating table. Yes it was sad and we all had a good cry over it. and My parents took me to his funeral and his mom told me that he liked me as much as I liked him . ( I had a HUGE crush on him) I'm glad I got to see him that one last time, because it meant a lot to both of us. Yes death is a sad thing but if you don't get to say your good byes it's even worse. He's 17 he can handle it.
