From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. The submediant, and the chord built on the submediant, is often simply called the sixth as it is the sixth scale degree. The note of a chord forming the interval of a sixth with the chord's root, such as in the chords G6 or G6 added 9, is known as the sixth of the chord. GNU Free Documentation License How do you talk to your sixth grade girlfriend when you have nothing to talk about? Q. I am a sixth grader going out with a cheerleader what do i talk about. Asked by Jacob T - Thu Mar 26 11:09:56 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Think about the sorts of things she's interested in. You mentioned she was a cheerleader, so perhaps you could discuss her cheer-leading. Keep an eye open for potential subjects in your day to day life. Consider too the things you two have in common, as those will help the two of you develop meaningful bonds over shared experiences. I've been asked to lead the small group sessions for the sixth grade boys at a church's student discipleship weekend. The theme is 'pure love.' How much info do you think is too much at that age? Asked by brainiac5 - Wed Feb 7 13:47:00 2007 - - 19 Answers - 0 Comments A. What a wonderful undertaking you are about to have. You will be surprised and maybe shocked by how much a 6th grader already knows about sex. You will be equally shocked and dismayed by how much of it is inaccurate. I would start out by asking the group what they think the words "Pure Love" mean to them. Allow them to have the discussion with you instead of the other way around. If they ask direct questions, answer them with honesty and very basic terms. Love and Sex are two very different things, I would make sure they know that. Adolescents need to understand that love is something they can feel for many different people but sex is only for marriage, especially if this is a Church function. These kids need to know they can ask… [cont.] Answered by RaLoh - Wed Feb 7 14:10:39 2007 What are some songs with at least four poetic elements in them that sixth graders would like?
Q. I need examples of songs that have at least four poetic elements in them that sixth graders like. If you find any, please list them. I would appreciate it if you could also list the parts that are the parts of the poetic elements if you get what I mean, and if that's not too much to ask. Thank you so much. I need to know ASAP. Some of the poetic elements I could use are assonance/alliteration, hyperboles, euphemism, metaphors, similes, etc. Asked by Shikira P - Sun Feb 24 23:37:56 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments A. I'm not sure what type of music you like but most songs have end rhymes and of course meter (beat.) That is two elements right there. If there are any lines that use like or as i.e. she is as happy as a clam then you have a simile. Then a song like perhaps "Rehab" when she says "no, no, no..." You could say that is repetition. So you have four easy elements right there. Good Luck.
